Refund policy

Before your first envelope is posted. Change your mind at any time before your first envelope is posted in January 2027 and we’ll refund your payment in full. Email bonjour@bienavous.ca with your order number.

If your first envelope is late. If your first envelope hasn’t been posted by 31 January 2027, you may cancel and we’ll refund your payment in full.

The monthly subscription. You can stop your subscription at any time before your next billing date, the 1st of the month, and you won’t be charged again. You can stop or restart from your account, or by emailing us. Envelopes that have already been posted aren’t refunded.

A Year of Ink. A Year of Ink is a single payment for twelve envelopes, January to December 2027. If you cancel after your first envelope has been posted, we’ll refund the envelopes not yet posted at $17 each, less $39 if your Kaweco pen has already been sent.

Gifts. A refund for a gift goes back to the person who paid for it, not to the recipient.

Damaged on arrival. If a tin or pen arrives damaged, email a photo to bonjour@bienavous.ca within 14 days of delivery and we’ll send a replacement at no cost to you.

Returns. Because each envelope is prepared by hand and its ink is used, we can’t take back tins, cartridges, letters or postcards once they’ve been posted. An unused Kaweco pen bought as an add-on can be returned in its original packaging within 30 days of delivery for a refund of $39. Please email us before sending it.

How refunds are paid. Refunds go back to your original method of payment within 10 business days of our approving them. Your bank may take a few more days to show the credit.
