A Year of Ink
One payment of $204 CAD for a full year: twelve monthly envelopes, January to December 2027.
Every month you receive a numbered collector's tin holding three cartridges of that month's fountain pen ink, the story behind the colour's name, and a blank postcard to send to someone.
Your first delivery also includes a Kaweco Classic Sport fountain pen in navy, so you can begin writing straight away.
What arrives each month
- A collector's tin. Three short standard international cartridges in that month's shade. The label is swatched by hand and numbered in the ink itself.
- The story of the colour. A letter from the house about where the shade's name comes from. Each story appears in The Letters on the 15th of the month.
- A blank postcard. For someone you'd like to write to.
Giving A Year of Ink
Some gifts take a year to open. When you give A Year of Ink, we write the recipient a handwritten announcement and post it to them, so they know a year of ink is on its way and who it is from.
In January their first envelope arrives with the pen, and a new shade follows every month through December.
To give it, enter the recipient's name and address as the shipping address at checkout. In your cart, open the gift note and add your name and a short message. We'll write it into their announcement by hand.
Order by Friday, 18 December for the announcement to arrive before Christmas.
Canadian postage included; shipping outside Canada is added at checkout. The cartridges fit Kaweco, J. Herbin, Graf von Faber-Castell and other pens that take short standard international cartridges; not Pilot, Platinum, Sailor, Parker or Lamy.
